Chief of the State Migration Service received Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Azerbaijan

On February 12, 2013 chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev received Vladimir Dorokhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in our country.

At the meeting Service chief gave detailed information about implementation of state policy in migration field, development of management system in the Republic of Azerbaijan, establishment history of the State Migration Service, its activity, as well as addendums and amendments made to the legislation. 

Expressing his gratitude for warm reception Ambassador Vadimir Dorokhin emphasized that they will do their best to expand the cooperation between the country represented by him and the State Migration Service in the future.

During the meeting development of relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation was discussed, assurance was expressed over expanding cooperation in the future. It was mentioned that existing efficient cooperation between relevant entities of two countries will be further developed.

At the meeting opinion exchange was carried out on other issues interesting either side in migration field.
