The activity of the State Migration Service Positively Assessed

In the 2025-2026 edition of the European Union Business Climate Report on Azerbaijan, prepared within the framework of the “EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum” project, Azerbaijan’s migration policy, the activity of the State Migration Service, and the contribution of its electronic services to the business environment were positively assessed. The report aims to reflect recent development and innovations in Azerbaijan’s business environment from the perspective of European companies operating in the country.

The report identifies migration policy as one of the factors contributing to a favorable business environment in Azerbaijan and highlights that the respondents highly appreciate the efficiency of the State Migration Service’s electronic services.

The State Migration Service was also recognized in the report as one of the three most effective public institutions. It should be noted that in previous editions of the Business Climate Report, migration management in our country also ranked among the leading areas. The State Migration Service continues its efforts to improve service quality, expand digital capabilities and enhance access to services for foreigners.
