Dear Memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev Honored at the State Migration Service

The staff of the State Migration Service paid deep respect and homage to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, by placing bouquets of flowers in front of his grave at the Alley of Honors.

An event dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the architect and founder of the modern and independent Azerbaijani state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at the State Migration Service.

The Heydar Aliyev Museum, located within the headquarters of the State Migration Service, was visited.

During the event held in the assembly hall of the Service, following the performance of the National Anthem, a moment of silence was observed in honor of the dear memory of the prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev and our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Habil Naghiyev, spoke about the honorable and meaningful life path of Heydar Aliyev, a wise politician and statesman who was deeply devoted to his homeland and people, as well as his rich legacy of statehood. He emphasized that the National Leader, who has earned the endless love and affection of his nation, will forever live in the memory of the Azerbaijani people as a founding and saving statesman.

At the end of the event, a documentary film dedicated to the National Leader was screened.

In addition, commemorative events dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev were also held by the regional migration departments of the State Migration Service.
