A training session was held on "National Referral Mechanism for Refugee Status Determination and Asylum Procedure"

Organized by the State Migration Service (SMS) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the next training session on "National Referral Mechanism for Refugee Status Determination and Asylum Procedure" took place in Zagatala.

The next training session on “National Referral Mechanism for Refugee Status Determination and Asylum Procedure” organized by the State Migration Service (SMS) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) took place in Zagatala.

At the event attended by the representatives of the Executive Power of Zagatala region, the employees of the district judiciary and law enforcement agencies, detailed information was provided   on the rules of asylum seekers and the procedure for examining applications.

 Attention has been drawn to increasing cooperation between relevant government agencies and non-governmental organizations in the implementation of measures concerning such persons in recent years.

At the end, the questions of the participants were answered. Then the participants of the event got acquainted with the activities of Sheki Regional Migration Department.
