Meeting with a group of Patriotic War participants held at the State Migration Service
The event has begun with a poem of employee of the State Migration Service dedicated to the memory of the heroic sons, who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the 44-day Patriotic War. Afterwards, our heroes who died for our territorial integrity were commemorated with a minute of silence.
Opening the event, Elman Aliyev, Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor, as a participant of the First Karabakh War spoke about the proud and difficult moments of the Patriotic War. He noted that for 44 days, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the Victorious Azerbaijani Army has demonstrated its strength to the world. In this victory, attention was drawn to the exceptional role of Mr. President and the people, as well as the unity of the Azerbaijanis of the world, whose hearts beat with the Motherland.
Then the fighters were introduced to the participants with an introductory video. The servicemen, who were awarded with the "Hero of the Patriotic War" medal and the "Karabakh" order, spoke about their 44-day battle and unforgettable moments during the combat missions. They spoke about the heroism of the heroic sons of the Motherland in the liberation of Shusha. The servicemen also informed about the heroic activities of our Air Force repelling enemy air strikes against civilians.
In the end, the questions of the participants were answered. The guests were presented with symbolic gifts on behalf of the Service, as well as memorial photo was taken.
