Next awareness-raising event held in Sabirabad

An online awareness-raising event on "Legalization of foreigners and stateless persons residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the pandemic" has been held by Shirvan Regional Migration Department. At the meeting with the participation of public and rural representatives of the district, detailed information was provided on the management of migration processes in Azerbaijan during the pandemic, the “MIGAZ” mobile application, as well as e-services rendered by the Service. The issues on extension of the temporary staying period of foreigners who cannot leave the country for obvious reasons, issuance of temporary and permanent residence permits were discussed. Moreover, illegal migration and its nature, threats, and protection measures taken by the state in this direction were discussed.

In the end, the questions of the participants were answered.
