According to the regulation, the directions of activity of the Training Center are as follows:

- To increase the professional training and qualifications of employees of the migration bodies;

- To organize the adaptation of foreigners residing in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan to local environment;

- To ensure scientific research on the development and improvement of migration policy formulation;

- To ensure the maintenance and use of the library fund of the Service, which was created to meet the cultural needs of the employees of the migration bodies and spend their free time effectively;
