Chief of the State Migration Service met with members of the Public Council

Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov met with the members of the Public Council under the SMS in its new composition.

Congratulating the members of the Public Council, the Chief of the Service wished them success in their future activities.

Emphasizing the important role of the Public Council in the previous periods in improving migration processes and ensuring public oversight, Vusal Huseynov noted that mutual cooperation with the Council created an opportunity to convey migration policy to the public in an open manner. He expressed hope that, taking into account development trends, the newly formed Public Council would also put forward proposals and demonstrate active engagement in regulating and improving migration processes in the country.

During the meeting, the newly elected Chair of the Council, Sima Yagubova, delivered a speech, stating that the traditions of cooperation established in previous years between the Public Councils and the Service would be continued, and provided information about the work plan of the Council.

Subsequently, the proposals of the Council members were heard, organizational issues were discussed, and new membership cards were presented to the members of the Council.
