Dear Memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev Honored at the State Migration Service
The staff of the State Migration Service paid deep respect and homage to the memory of the Great Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, by placing bouquets of flowers in front of his grave at the Alley of Honors.
The memory of the outstanding ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also respectfully commemorated, and fresh flowers were placed in front of her grave.
An event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the architect and founder of the modern and independent Azerbaijani state, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was held at the State Migration Service.
A visit was made to the Heydar Aliyev Museum and the "The Victory Corner", which symbolizes the historical triumph of our Army in the Patriotic War located within the headquarters of the State Migration Service, flowers were placed there.
During the event held in the assembly hall of the Service, following the performance of the National Anthem, a moment of silence was observed in honor of the dear memory of the National Leader and our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov spoke about the services of the wise statesman, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who left a bright and indelible mark on modern world history, in the establishment of the independent Azerbaijani state, as well as his unparalleled contributions to the strengthening and development of our independence. He noted that the worthy successor of the National Leader, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev who has earned the endless love and affection of his nation, has successfully continued this great path with his determination, courage, and wisdom, and spoke about the measures implemented for the development of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the event, a documentary film dedicated to the National Leader was screened.
In addition, commemorative events dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev were also held by the regional migration departments of the State Migration Service.
