Chief of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Türkiye

Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov has met with the delegation led by Mr. Yasin Ekrem Serim, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, accompanied by Mr. Cahit Bagci, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to our country.

Welcoming the guests warmly, Chief of Service stated that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye cooperation, based on friendship and brotherhood, is developing positively in all directions, including in the field of migration, which in its turn significantly influences the dynamics of migration processes between the two countries. Vusal Huseynov noted that the meeting was a good opportunity to review the current state of cooperation in the field of migration between the two countries and discuss new prospects for cooperation.

Emphasizing the considerable share of the citizens of the Republic of Türkiye in migration processes in our country, Vusal Huseynov provided detailed information on the opportunities created for individuals coming to Azerbaijan for various purposes to reside comfortably, as well as on the works done and the services provided by the State Migration Service in this regard.

Expressing his satisfaction with the cordial reception, Yasin Ekrem Serim highlighted the importance of relations between the two countries, particularly in the field of migration, touching upon issues of mutual interest and discussing the prospects for future cooperation in this direction.

During the meeting, current topics related to the stay and residence of citizens of both countries, as well as possible steps that could be taken in this direction, were discussed, and views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
