Next meeting of the Advisory Board held

The next meeting of the Advisory Board under the State Migration Service (SMS) has been held. Representatives of entrepreneurs' organizations, employers' associations and large companies operating in Azerbaijan participated in the meeting.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov noted that the purpose of the meeting is to carry out awareness raising on  innovations in the field of migration, improvements made to the legislation, and to learn the opinions of the representatives of the private sector regarding migration management.

Highlighting works conducted in the direction of improving migration management, the Chief of the Service gave information about the new requirements for obtaining residence permits based on legal entities with foreign investment and entrepreneurial activity. Vusal Huseynov also drew attention to the requirements regarding the amount of paid-up charter capital of a legal entity with foreign investment and the volume of turnover, as well as the changes made in connection with the "Rule on Determination of Labor Migration Quota" in order to fully determine the demand for foreign labor force in the country.

Noting the special attention paid to the development of dialogue with entrepreneurs, Vusal Huseynov emphasized that the needs of the private sector and the application of innovative methods are always kept on the agenda, and informed about the new electronic services provided by the Service. As well as, he stated that the Advisory Board plays a a crucial role in raising awareness of the employers operating in Azerbaijan about the latest innovations in the field of migration.

Later, discussions were held to solving the business-releted issues, representatives of entrepreneurs' organizations and large companies shared their opinions on a number of issues.
