National Action Plan for 2020-2022 on promotion of Open Government discussed at the State Migration Service

The National Action Plan for 2020-2022 on promotion of Open Government was discussed at the State Migration Service with participation of the representatives from relevant government agencies, civil society organizations and experts.

At the event it was noted that our country achieved great success as a result of increasing transparency and public satisfaction, and expanding the use of information and communication technologies in public administration. Earlier activities which are implemented on open government principles, included ensuring access to information, increasing public participation, and cooperating closely with civil society institutions.It is noteworthy to mention that the draft National Action Plan on promotion of Open Government covering the years of 2020-2022 envisages implementation of measures on preventing corruption, ensuring financial transparency, improving public services, simplifying access to information and other directions.

Later on, opinions were exchanged, proposals were listened and questions were answered on the draft National Action Plan with the participation of representatives from relevant government agencies, civil society organizations and experts.

At the end of the event it was decided to submit the draft document to the relevant executive authority.
