Chief of the State Migration Service met with the Representative of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Azerbaijan

Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov has met with the Representative pf United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Azerbaijan Guido Ambroso.

Vusal Huseynov touched upon effective cooperation between the State Migration Service and UNHCR Representation in Azerbaijan, as well as noted significant measures taken towards improving current asylum system in the country and integration of persons who obtained refugee status.

Expressing his gratitude for sincere reception the UNHCR Representative in Azerbaijan Guido Ambroso emphasized utmost importance of successful continuation of relations between two agencies.

Opinion exchange was conducted on other issues of mutual interest at the meeting.
